The application period for the 2026 BIM Excellence Award is open until June 12.<\/p>\n\n
This is an initiative by CT 197 \u2013 BIM, in partnership with BUILT CoLAB and PTPC\/Cluster AEC, which aims to promote and advance the digitalisation and implementation of BIM methodology at a national level by disseminating and promoting best practices, particularly those based on existing standards and guidelines, thereby strengthening the sector\u2019s international competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n
In its 2026 edition, the BIM Excellence Award continues its mission, reflecting the sector\u2019s growing digital maturity and placing even greater emphasis on interoperability, structured information management and technological innovation associated with the BIM methodology.<\/p>\n\n
This year, there will be six categories:<\/p>\n\n
1. Donos de Obra: Contrata\u00e7\u00e3o e Gest\u00e3o;<\/p>\n\n
2. Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o e Projeto;<\/p>\n\n
3. Planeamento e Constru\u00e7\u00e3o;<\/p>\n\n
4. Gest\u00e3o do Ambiente Constru\u00eddo;<\/p>\n\n
5. Interoperabilidade: openBIM;<\/p>\n\n
6. Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Tecnol\u00f3gica em BIM.<\/p>\n\n
O j\u00fari \u00e9 constitu\u00eddo por especialistas de reconhecido m\u00e9rito nacional e internacional, integrando representantes das entidades organizadoras e de institui\u00e7\u00f5es acad\u00e9micas e profissionais do setor: Paula Couto (LNEC), D\u00e9bora Pinto (BUILT COLAB), Rita Moura (PTPC\/Cluster AEC), Fernando Pinho (Ordem dos Engenheiros), Cl\u00e1udia Antunes (Ordem dos Arquitectos), Jos\u00e9 Carlos Lino (buildingSMART Portugal), Ant\u00f3nio Aguiar Costa (CERIS \u2013 IST), Francisco Teixeira Bastos (CiTUA \u2013 IST), Jo\u00e3o Po\u00e7as Martins (CONSTRUCT \u2013 FEUP), Miguel Azenha (ISISE \u2013 UMinho), Diogo Ribeiro (iBuilt \u2013 ISEP), Eduardo Toledo Santos (Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo), Ricardo Codinhoto (Universidade de Bath) e Sergio Mu\u00f1oz G\u00f3mez (buildingSMART Espanha).<\/p>\n\n
