BUILT CoLAB participated in the preparation of one of the new Manuals of Ecological Criteria for Public Procurement, published under the National Strategy for Ecological Public Procurement<\/a> – ENCPE 2020, with the contribution of Paulo Fonseca, Executive Director<\/a>, who also represented the AEC Cluster.<\/p>\n\n

This collaboration focused on the Manual \u201cConce\u00e7\u00e3o, constru\u00e7\u00e3o, reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o e conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de estradas<\/a>\u201d, whose coordination was carried out by IMPIC – Instituto dos Mercados P\u00fablicos, do Imobili\u00e1rio e da Constru\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a>, and the edition was in charge of APA – Ag\u00eancia Portuguesa do Ambiente<\/a> (ENCPE Technical Team 2020).<\/p>\n\n

The BUILT CoLAB involvement in this initiative is a contribution to sustainability in the AEC sector in particular, and to the environmental transition as a whole, as defined in the mission that led to its constitution<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the said Manual, which can be found here<\/a>, six other new manuals were published for other sectors of activity<\/a>: Textile products and services; Interior cleaning services; Sanitary Systems; Street lighting and traffic lights; Maintenance of Public Spaces and Furniture. These Manuals join five other previously published ones. As a whole, these guiding documents aim to provide the Public Administration with an important tool for sustainable public procurement and are also an important contribution to the objectives of the Circular Economy.<\/p>\n\n

These manuals are added to the existing Framework Agreements that meet ecological criteria so that a large majority of priority goods and services can be purchased by all contracting entities in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n\n

We recall that the essential purpose of ENCPE 2020 is to be a complementary instrument of environmental policies, competing to promote pollution reduction, reduce the consumption of natural resources and, by inerence, increase the efficiency of systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
