{"id":9378,"date":"2023-07-11T16:22:49","date_gmt":"2023-07-11T15:22:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/builtcolab.pt\/built-colab-co-organizes-thematic-session-at-science-2023-meeting\/"},"modified":"2023-10-18T15:59:35","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T14:59:35","slug":"built-colab-co-organizes-thematic-session-at-science-2023-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/builtcolab.pt\/en\/news\/built-colab-co-organizes-thematic-session-at-science-2023-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"BUILT CoLAB co-organizes thematic session at Science 2023 meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BUILT COLAB co-organized with WATER CO-RE COLAB the thematic session &#8220;The Water-Energy Nexus at the heart of environmental sustainability&#8221;, which took place during the Science 2023 Meeting, held in Aveiro on July 6 and 7.<\/p>\n\n<p>The session sought to put into perspective and debate the importance of promoting a digital and environmental transition of the critical infrastructures and supply chains of the sectors involved, with a view to strategically increasing their resilience, sustainability and adaptability to face modern times, where the challenges related to scarcity and climate change are becoming increasingly evident.<\/p>\n\n<p>Jo\u00e3o Po\u00e7as Martins and Marco Pedroso from BUILT CoLAB, Carlos Oliveira and Jaime Gabriel Silva from Water Co-Re CoLAB took part in the debate, which was moderated by Catarina Tuna from \u00c1guas e Energia do Porto.<\/p>\n\n<p>Science 2023 is the annual meeting dedicated to science, technology and innovation in Portugal. This year, for the first time, it focused on a single theme: Science and the Ocean beyond the Horizon.
