The project&#8217;s focus is on combining the implementation of new technologies with the experience of experts in the field to improve the processes through which companies generate profits from a global perspective.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-609c7b3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"609c7b3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This means that a holistic approach is taken on both a global and local scale to maximize the productivity of the company as a whole, rather than limiting the scope to optimizing local operations. On the one hand, new technologies include the application of optimization algorithms to repetitive processes that are traditionally decided solely on the basis of the experience of planning teams.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the experience of experts can be leveraged by artificial intelligence algorithms applied to previous databases that contain knowledge about the conventional methodologies applied to solve specific problems, such as the distribution of assets in various operational sites, or the scheduling of inspection operations.<\/p>\n<p>The ultimate goal is to support decision-making processes relating to resource management in order to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, compiling all the information into automatically generated reports that not only support decision-making, but also act as historical records for future audits.<\/p>\n<p>This project is linked, in its IoT component, to the IoTask project and consists of two dimensions:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d680f83 elementor-icon-list--layout-traditional elementor-list-item-link-full_width elementor-widget elementor-widget-icon-list\" data-id=\"d680f83\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"icon-list.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"elementor-icon-list-items\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/builtcolab.pt\/en\/projects\/automation-digital-production-optimization\/\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-chevron-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">AUTOMATION -
