BUILT CoLAB took part in the Conferência “2025 EC³ European Conference on Computing in Construction”, que se realizou entre 14 e 17 de julho, no Porto.
EC³ is a leading European conference in the field of research and innovation in technology for the construction sector. It brings together researchers and professionals in the construction sector from all over Europe to share their latest developments in all aspects related to IT in construction, enabling an active dialogue to be established on existing challenges and the latest advances in research and professional practice in this field.
In this context, Luís Jacques, from BUILT CoLAB, presented the article ‘Portuguese Construction Dataset for AI BOQ Text Extraction and Synthetic Data Augmentation Using LLMs’, which he co-authored with João Poças Martins (CONSTRUCT-GEQUALTEC, FEUP), Luís Sanhudo (BUILT CoLAB) and João Miguel Silva (BUILT CoLAB).
João Miguel Silva, from BUILT CoLAB, also had the opportunity to present a poster on ‘A Graph-Based Method for Generating Q&A Datasets for IFC Information Retrieval’, the result of work carried out together with Luís Jacques (BUILT CoLAB), Luís Sanhudo (BUILT CoLAB), João Poças Martins (CONSTRUCT-GEQUALTEC, FEUP) and Rosaldo Rossetti (LIACC, FEUP).
