🗣️ BUILT CoLAB is organising the UBI Session Porto, an international validation workshop as part of the UTS – Universal Timber Slab Project.
This interactive workshop is aimed at professionals in the construction sector and the built environment, giving them the opportunity to learn about the innovative UTS system, try out its digital tools and contribute to the validation of the solution and its future application in the market.

The session will take place during Concreta 2026, Portugal’s leading trade fair dedicated to architecture, construction, engineering and design, and will also give participants the opportunity to visit the fair.

UTS is a Horizon Europe (EIC Pathfinder) initiative led by the University of Stuttgart, in which BUILT CoLAB is participating, and which aims to develop a new structural system based on timber floor slabs as an alternative to conventional concrete, integrating computational design, engineering, acoustics and building physics, life-cycle and cost analysis, and AI- and BIM-based tools.
