Leonor Santos, from BUILT CoLAB, took part in the Round Table at the event “Circularity in Construction in Lisbon”, which took place on 16 May at FabLab/Biolab in Lisbon, as part of the 13th Lisbon Unicorn Week.

The event, organised by Lisbon City Council and Lisboa E-nova, as part of the Let’s go circular project in which BUILT CoLAB is involved, aimed to debate the state of circular construction and was also attended by Alexandre Dias, Joana Pragosa and Patricia Gomes.

In her speech, Leonor Santos discussed BUILT CoLAB’s role as a promoter of more circular and sustainable practices in the AEC sector, as well as the main obstacles and opportunities facing the sector on its path to implementing the principles of circularity, based on the Report on the Current State of Circularity in the Construction Sector in Portugal, a previous study to the Action Plan for Circularity in Portugal (PACCO) that BUILT CoLAB drew up as part of the Circularity in Construction project.
