BUILT CoLAB will host and co-supervise 3 PhD students with scholarships awarded by the FCT to carry out their studies in a non-academic environment: Elis Ribeiro, Jaime Cunha and Ahmed Ashour. The applications were developed in close collaboration between the students and their supervisors, based on the core skills of the BUILT CoLAB team.

FCT doctoral scholarships are designed to fund research activities leading to a doctoral degree, carried out in close co-operation with non-academic organisations. BUILT CoLAB, as a Collaborative Laboratory, follows its mission by being involved with these students, maintaining their close connection to academia while promoting their connection to the business environment.
