Vanessa Tavares, Head of Sustainability at BUILT CoLAB, was one of the speakers at the Symposium ‘Sustainable Materials and Innovative Construction Technologies in Portugal’, which was organised by CCILA – the Portuguese-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and took place on 15 October in Lisbon.
The event, which was attended by around 80 people, aimed to raise awareness of the importance of the topic for the business community in the current context, which projects are being developed in the field of sustainable construction in Germany and Portugal, as well as highlighting the advantages of their implementation, using examples of success from both countries.
Vanessa Tavares had the opportunity to present PACCO – Action Plan for Circularity in Construction in Portugal, developed by BUILT CoLAB, and to explain the measures it recommends should be implemented to make construction more circular in Portugal.
