Vanessa Tavares, from BUILT CoLAB, took part in the Policy Workshop on the Energy Renovation of Buildings organised by ISQ on 15 January as part of the Surefit project.
During the event, various topics were discussed, such as the impact of European directives (EPBD, RED III, EED), public policies to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and the challenges linked to circularity in construction. In this context, Vanessa Tavares had the opportunity to present PACCO – the Action Plan for Circularity in Construction, and the work underway as part of the Decarbonisation Roadmap for the construction sector and associated industrial activities.
Also addressing these issues were Ricardo Aguiar (DGEG – Directorate General for Energy and Geology), Rui Fragoso (ADENE – Energy Agency), Helder Gonçalves (LNEG), Eduardo Maldonado (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto) and José Dias (SEL), who also took part in a round table moderated by Rita Moura (PTPC).
