To achieve its goal, the Green Lessons pilot will use digital tools, including a web application and 360º virtual reality videos, to actively involve students, educators and local organisations, and foster collaboration, to adapt educational content on circular economy practices to the specific needs of different students.
The content of the web application will be co-created with educators to ensure its relevance, the user experience will be improved based on feedback in a trial period, and a model based on Artificial Intelligence will suggest content to the user according to their age, level of knowledge and interests. The pilot launch will feature interactive events at school level, promoting the community’s ongoing involvement with the content through challenges and quizzes.
With a focus on continuous improvement and community involvement, Communicity Green Lessons seeks to empower the next generation to adopt sustainable behaviours and contribute positively to their environment.

About CommuniCity
The project has a significant part of its budget allocated to cascade funding and, at three different times, different cities identified challenges that were transformed into competitions for different pilots. BUILT CoLAB won three from the Municipality of Porto (with different entities), D-Power, CoolScape and Minus-E, and one from the Municipality of Matosinhos, Green Lessons.
