BUILT CoLAB no isic 2022

BUILT CoLAB supported the ISIC 2022 international conference that took place in early September in Guimarães, as co-organiser of the event.

João Moutinho, Director of BUILT CoLAB, was one of the speakers at the opening session of the event, together with Pedro Arezes, President EEUM, Paulo Cruz, President EAAD, George K. Chang, ISIC President, Ana Cotter, CMG Advisor, and António Gomes Correia, Chair of ISIC 2022. In this session he had the opportunity to present BUILT CoLAB to the national and international community present in the audience, focusing on its mission to enhance knowledge transfer from academia to the construction industry. For this reason, he even challenged all the researchers present to evaluate the digital solutions to be presented during the conference and the willingness of BUILT CoLAB to operationalise them for use in a business environment. He also addressed the topic of sustainability and its preponderance in all activities, whose implementation by the construction sector has fundamental points in the use of technology and digitalisation. The Conference “International Society for Intelligent Construction – ISIC 2022” was held in Guimarães between 06 and 09 September and its main theme was “Trends on Construction in the Post-Digital Era”.
