The Intermediate Conference of the FoC – Future of Construction project was held on 19 July, organised by BUILT CoLAB, the promoter of this SIAC project.
The event took place in Leiria, at NERLEI’s facilities, and aimed to debate the theme “Strategy for the Future of Sustainable Construction” based on the presentation of prospective studies for the AEC Sector that are being carried out by various national consultants under the four structural vectors of the FoC – Future of Construction project: Digitalise, Transform, Preserve and Qualify. To this end, it was attended by Miguel Taborda, from Deloitte, Daniela Matos and Ivo Pavia, from Fi Group, Ana Lopes from 3drivers and Isabel Vaz Pereira from EY.
A debate followed, moderated by Rita Moura, with the participation of Nuno Mangas, President of Compete, Gonçalo Lopes, President of CIMRL, António Poças, President of NERLEI and Rui Pedrosa, President of IPLeiria.
The event was also attended by Luís Gomes, from Mota-Engil and Vice-President of BUILT CoLAB, who opened the event, as well as Paulo Fonseca, Hugo Sousa and Lurdes Laranjeira from BUILT CoLAB, who supported its implementation.
