João Moutinho, BUILT CoLAB Director, was Keynote Speaker at the international conference SBD – Sustainable and Digital Building, organised by Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, that took place on 27 and 28 October.
In his presentation he addressed the topic “A Twin Transition Approach to Construction – Challenges and Practical Situations”, based on the work that BUILT CoLAB has been developing in the field of digitalisation and sustainability in the built environment, also reflecting on the vision of this Collaborative Laboratory for the future of construction.
The SDB conference, which takes place annually, aims to provide an innovative environment for the discussion of emerging technologies associated with Sustainable and Digital Construction, reflecting how innovation in construction will impact on design, new materials, processes and new ideas.
