On 30 October, Lisbon hosted the Final Conference of the C2Ø – Construction to Zero project, the Decarbonisation Roadmap for the construction sector and associated industrial activities, which BUILT CoLAB has been supporting.
At this event, which was attended by over 100 participants, the results obtained throughout the project were presented, with a main focus on the Roadmap, which compiles the work carried out by the team and the resulting proposals for each of the targeted CAEs – Manufacture of other carpentry works for construction; Manufacture of concrete products for construction; Manufacture of ready-mixed concrete; Manufacture of mortars; and Manufacture of bituminous mixtures.
Vanessa Tavares, Head of Sustainability at BUILT CoLAB, spoke at the presentation of the project’s results, alongside the rest of the project’s technical team – Filomena Duarte (PTPC), Fátima Rato (ATIC), and Ana Mestre (3drivers) – who also discussed the main conclusions that will be included in the final Roadmap document.
João Moutinho, Director of BUILT CoLAB, was also present for the presentation of the C2Ø Excellence Award and honourable mentions (an initiative of which he was part of the jury), together with Maria João Falcão (LNEC), president of the jury, and António Lorena (3drivers), also a member of the jury.
