Vanessa Tavares, Head of Sustainability at BUILT CoLAB, gave a talk on Life Cycle Assessment and Circular Construction as part of the open class of the Circular Construction, Certification and Conscious Design course at FAUP – Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto.
At the invitation of lecturer Clara Pimenta do Vale, Vanessa Tavares presented the methodology of life cycle analysis, addressing the concepts of circular economy applied to the construction sector, and also presented the Action Plan for Circularity in Construction (PACCO) carried out by BUILT CoLAB.
This type of initiative enables BUILT CoLAB to maintain its proximity and collaborative spirit with Academia, allowing it to promote the transfer of knowledge to Industry in a more dynamic way.
