BUILT CoLAB, as the Sectoral Standardization Body (ONS) responsible for coordinating TC 197 – BIM, informs that the vote on the translations carried out to transpose the EN ISO 19650 standard into a Portuguese Standard (NP) is underway.
This international standard, dedicated to information management through BIM, has been preliminarily translated into its parts:
- EN ISO 19650-1
- EN ISO 19650-2
- EN ISO 19650-3
- EN ISO 19650-5
This important step towards BIM standardization in Portugal is the result of the commitment shown by all the members of TC 197 – BIM through their voluntary dedication to the translation process. Internally, BUILT CoLAB had the active participation of Pedro Lucas Martins and Débora Pinto in this translation process.
We are sure that this contribution will boost the digital transition of the AEC sector in Portugal.
