1st call for the METABUILDING Project opened until January 30, 2021

The 1st METABUILDING call is open, which has available up to 5000€ for innovative SMEs, whose innovation processes have application in the construction sector and with application in the areas of additive manufacturing, circular economy, solutions based on nature, and digital.

On December 15, as part of the METABUILDING workshop “Support for innovation to SMEs in the construction sector”, the call will be presented in more detail.

The goal of the H2020 METABUILDING project is to drive innovation in construction SMEs by collaborating with other more innovative sectors. SMEs may submit their applications between 15 December 2020 and 30 January 2021 (applications submitted in English in www.metabuilding.com).

The SEED call is aimed at SMEs in the six target countries of the project: Portugal, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Hungary. Applications will be evaluated in each country by a jury composed of independent experts. These national juries will present their ratings to the METABUILDING evaluation committee (composed of members of the jury from the six target countries), which will make the final funding decisions. Winners will be announced on February 15, 2021.

PTPC/Cluster AEC, BUILT CoLAB associate participates in the METABUILDING Project, together with other European countries (Austria, France, Hungary, Italy, and Spain). It is a project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 program that aims to finance and support SME innovation initiatives and projects and boost the construction sector at the European level. It aims to bring innovation to the “traditional” value chain of the construction sector, through collaboration with other innovative sectors. It will support more than 140 SMEs at the European level, belonging to the industrial sectors of Construction, Additive Manufacturing, Nature-Based Solutions, Digital Industry, and Recycling.
