João Moutinho represented BUILT CoLAB at BfK Ideas 2022, as part of the jury that evaluated the ideas in the competition, which took place at the beginning of November in Porto.
The Born from Knowledge – BfK Ideas 2022 initiative, as the national final of business ideas “born from knowledge”, aims to disseminate and reward business ideas from Portuguese Higher Education Institutions. The participants made their presentation in pitch format before the Jury, who classified the business ideas according to the defined criteria table.
In the end, four projects were distinguished:
- Orgavalue (Universidade do Porto)
- PlatGen® (Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro)
- BOB – Bulding Out of the Box (Universidade da Beira Interior) – with whom BUILT CLAB is in talks to enter into a partnership
- As Aventuras de Lexi (Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave)
The winning BfK teams will have access to a Science and Technology Acceleration Programme to turn the ideas into marketable products/services or technologies.
