Workshop Incorporação de Materiais Reciclados na construção

BUILT CoLAB organised yesterday another Workshop in the scope of the Circular Agreement with the Construction Industry, this time dedicated to the topic “How to move from theory to action in the incorporation of recycled materials in the Construction sector”.

This Workshop aims to internalise knowledge that enables companies under current conditions to incorporate recycled materials into the construction sector and to understand what blockages exist through the exchange of experiences and realities between people.

Ana Cristina Freire, Isabel Martins and Maria João Falcão from LNEC gave an in-depth presentation on the subject, focusing on both the buildings and pavements aspects.

This was followed by a working session where participants had the opportunity to provide their input to identify the main blockages to circularity and solutions to address them.

We recall that this initiative took place within the scope of the Circular Agreement with the Construction Industry, the Collaboration Protocol between BUILT CoLAB, the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Action and the Environmental Fund, and that also has the Confederation of Portuguese Industry (CIP) as partner entities, CPCI – Portuguese Confederation of Construction and Real Estate, AICCOPN – Association of Civil Construction and Public Works Industries, AECOPS – Association of Construction and Public Works and Services Companies, PTPC – Portuguese Technological Platform for Construction, IMPIC – Institute for Public Markets, Real Estate and Construction, I. P., and the APA – Portuguese Environment Agency, I. P.
