Vanessa Tavares and Inês Martins from BUILT CoLAB took part in another meeting of the COST Circular B Action Working Groups in Olhão, Portugal, on 25 and 26 January.
The purpose of this meeting is to move forward with the development of Deliverable 3 – “Report on technical challenges and barriers for circular strategies implementation”, E-learning, and Circularity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as to discuss the Interim Conference and organise the Training School.
Vanessa Tavares is part of the Working Group that will develop the training content, e-learning platform and contribute to the dissemination of the survey that will identify the barriers to the adoption of the circular economy in Portugal. Inês Martins will be involved in translating the glossary on the circular economy in the AEC sector into Portuguese.
Remember that a COST action is an interdisciplinary research network that brings together researchers and innovators to investigate a topic of their choice for 4 years. COST actions are usually made up of researchers from academia, SMEs, public institutions and other relevant organizations or stakeholders.
The transition to more sustainable construction is one of BUILT CoLAB’s focuses, so being involved in this international network allows us to get in touch with different players in innovation for more circular construction.
