BUILT CoLAB was present and represented by João Moutinho at the International Conference of the ECTP – European Construction and sustainable built environment Technology Platform, held on 5 and 6 March in Brussels, where he presented DIGITALbuilt.
This year’s conference, which is a benchmark in the field of construction technology and brought together hundreds of people, celebrated ECTP’s 20th anniversary and its theme was “ECTP @ 20: Two decades shaping a smart and green built environment”.
During the event, João Moutinho took part in the organisation of one of the sessions, dedicated to the theme Integrated Digitalisation For The Built Environment, where the European Digital Innovation Hubs, a tool for construction stakeholders, were presented. In this context, João Moutinho presented DIGITALbuilt, on behalf of the Portuguese consortium, to participants from all over Europe and to the most important stakeholders in the European AEC sector. He was accompanied by Gaspard Demur, European Commission Head of unit A4 at DG CNET, Luigi Perissich – Federcostruzioni and DIHCUBE, and Stéphanie Roosa – EDIH-CONNECT.
The event was also an opportunity to network with various representatives from across the construction industry value chain in Europe. This conference was an opportunity for participants to share their experience, as well as for representatives of the European Commission to present the latest policy developments related to the EU construction industry, with an emphasis on those related to the ecological and digital transition of the built environment.
