BUILT CoLAB welcomes three new FCT scholarship students for PhD studies in a non-academic environment

BUILT CoLAB will welcome and co-supervise three new doctoral students with scholarships awarded by FCT, intended for completion in a non-academic environment: Zannat Shangi, Hiago Alves, and Gedeandro Santos.

The applications, developed in collaboration between students and supervising entities, are based on the main competencies of the BUILT CoLAB team in the field of digital transformation and sustainability.

These FCT doctoral scholarships aim to fund research activities conducted by the scholarship holder leading to the award of a doctoral degree, developed in close collaboration with non-academic entities such as BUILT CoLAB. As a Collaborative Laboratory, BUILT CoLAB thus continues its mission of strengthening ties with academia and promoting its connection with the business world.

Since 2024, three other doctoral programmes have been running in a non-academic environment, hosted by BUILT CoLAB and co-supervised by Luís Sanhudo and Vanessa Tavares. Information here.
