THE ANI reported that applications for the SIFIDE Incentives system for fiscal year 2020 may be submitted by 30 June 2021.
Thus, companies now have one more month than expected to apply to the System of Tax Incentives for Research and Business Development, which aims to increase the competitiveness of companies by supporting their research and development efforts by deducting a percentage of their R&D expenditure from COLLECTING IRC.
We recall that this Incentive System has as its motto “More R&D, Less IRC” and can represent up to 82.5% return on the amount invested in R&D in entities with recognition of suitability for the practice of these activities (immediately eligible expenses), as is BUILT CoLAB. In 2019, these incentives made it possible to invest €220 million in R&D.
